Facebook Launches “Fast Track” to Attract TikTok, YouTube Stars


Facebook has unveiled “Creator Fast Track”, a new monetization program designed to lure established creators from TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram to build audiences on the platform. The initiative offers guaranteed payments and boosted reach for eligible Reels, addressing a common barrier: the challenge of starting from zero on a new app.

Under the program, creators with at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube can earn $1,000 per month for three months by posting eligible Reels on Facebook. Those with over one million followers on any of those platforms qualify for $3,000 monthly during the same period. In addition to the cash incentive, participants receive immediate access to Facebook’s full suite of content monetization tools – bypassing standard eligibility requirements like minimum follower counts or watch time thresholds.

Yair Livne, VP of Creator Product at Facebook, explained the rationale during a briefing: “We wanted to address creators’ concerns that it would be a hard road to onboard onto Facebook and build a community from scratch.” The program allows creators to repurpose existing content or back-catalog hits, with no requirement for exclusive or brand-new material. Facebook will continue amplifying reach beyond the three-month guaranteed pay period until it determines the creator has established a sustainable audience.

The announcement coincides with strong growth in Facebook’s creator economy. The company reported paying creators nearly $3 billion in 2025—a 35% year-over-year increase and its highest annual total to date. Over 30% more creators now earn $10,000+ annually on the platform, and 60% of total payouts last year came from Reels, with the remainder from Stories, photos, and text posts.

The program arrives as competition intensifies among short-form video platforms. TikTok and YouTube continue to dominate creator attention, but Facebook’s massive user base and established monetization infrastructure make it an attractive alternative—especially for creators seeking diversified revenue streams.
