Doba adds Walmart Marketplace integration for drop shipping
Doba, a drop shipping platform, announced March 18 a verified technical integration with Walmart Marketplace, allowing sellers to connect their stores and automate core ecommerce functions.
The integration enables merchants to synchronize product listings, update inventory in real time and process orders automatically within the Walmart Marketplace. Doba said the connection uses OAuth 2.0 authentication and replaces legacy API methods that often require manual intervention.
Walmart is No. 2 in the Top 2000. The database is Digital Commerce 360’s ranking of North America’s online retailers by their annual ecommerce sales.
Walmart is also No. 8 in the Global Online Marketplaces. That database ranks the top such marketplaces by third-party gross merchandise value (GMV).
About the Doba integration with Walmart Marketplace
The company said the integration has been approved under Walmart’s solution provider program. That indicates it meets the retailer’s requirements for performance and operational reliability. By automating data flows between systems, Doba designed the integration to reduce errors tied to manual entry and help sellers maintain compliance with Walmart’s standards.
Third-party sellers at Walmart Marketplace face strict requirements for inventory accuracy, fulfillment speed and order tracking. Failures in those areas can result in penalties or account suspension.
Doba said its platform automates product synchronization, inventory updates and order routing, which can help address those risks. The integration also allows sellers to manage Walmart Marketplace activity directly within Doba’s interface rather than across multiple systems.
Doba CEO Mandy Ji said the company is focused on simplifying onboarding and ongoing operations for sellers expanding on Walmart’s platform.
Walmart Marketplace has continued to grow as a channel for third-party sellers, with the retailer reporting more than 120 million monthly visitors to its ecommerce site. The company has expanded its network of approved technology providers as part of that growth.
Founded in 2002 and based in Salt Lake City, Doba provides tools for product sourcing, supplier connectivity, and order fulfillment automation for online retailers.
