YouTube monetization to start working in Armenia
RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan announced that YouTube monetization will start working in Armenia.
“The long-awaited news: YouTube monetization will finally start working in Armenia.
We welcome YouTube’s announcement to expand its presence in the Armenian market. This is an important step towards strengthening Armenia’s digital economy, empowering our rapidly growing community of content producers/creators, and promoting the global visibility of Armenian content, culture, and innovation.
For Armenia, platforms like YouTube are not just about content; they are about economic opportunities, digital entrepreneurship, and strengthening public resilience against disinformation through diverse and trusted voices.
The RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry will continue to collaborate with major global partners to ensure that Armenian creators and technology companies are fully integrated into the global digital ecosystem.
“We look forward to continuing these positive developments together with our American partners, and we are ready to deepen our collaboration with YouTube and the broader tech community,” he said.
